Today, the Wiehltalbahn railway line is the longest monument in the Oberbergischer district. This also includes the station buildings along the line that are still preserved.
On occasion of the nationwide Open Monument Day on September 14th, 2025, the Förderkreis zur Rettung der Wiehltalbahn e.V. (Association for the Preservation of the Wiehltalbahn Railway) will once again open the doors of its station rooms at Waldbroel station, located at Bahnhofstraße 30 in Waldbroel.
There will be a photo exhibition and rides on the work draisine in the station area.

It will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please note that parking is not available in front of the station building. Parking spaces are available in the area of the former freight station.
