Within the scope of an advanced training measure, Morsbach's fire brigade practised high angle rescue techniques in the "Heid"-district on March 15th, 2015. The training participiants had to rope down from a viaduct of the railway line Morsbach – Hermesdorf. The goal of this training was to enable the firemen to rescue themself in case the way out is blocked.

Also the Wiehltalbahn was actively involved in this training. In order to check out the chain of reporting, the Wiehltalbahn's incident management was alerted upon the march-out of the fire brigade like it would be alerted in case of a real incident. The harmonization between those involved passed off as scheduled.

Like on the occasion of the fire brigade operation in Wiehl two weeks ago, it turned out again that the emergency plans for incidents concerning the railway work.
